24th of July

Well we have had the pictures for some while but we never had time to post. So Clint uploaded the pictures and I am adding the text. I decided I had time to post since all of my patients are sleeping. It has been so busy lately because all my patients are catching respiratory infections. That means a lot of antibiotics, vital signs, and charting charting charting! I will have to admit that charting is my least favorite part of nursing. I am always worried that I am going to get sued so I always make my charting very thorough. So for the 24th of July Clint was able to go to Panguitch to visit his family and see parade, ride horses, four wheelers and dirt bikes and hang out with all the cousins, nephews and nieces. I was SO mad because i had to work. Now i know how Clint feels when i go do something when hes working. Not fun at all. Plus to top it off i had to stay at home by myself at night without the puppers because we decided to control the pet population and took the dogs to get fixed. For me in Vegas, I didn't get much sleep those couple of days.

Here are the newest twins. They are identical but they are still different sizes.
here is Kenny the newest Fink so cute
Jocelyn always has the mischievous face it is so funny. I always wonder what she is thinking.
Mason hates picking his nose but it looks like his finger is still in his nose and he does not look happy about it.
Braden thought the sirens were too loud for his tender ears.
Panguitch always has the best Candy at the parade. They passed out dog treats, Popsicles, homemade, root beer, and band aides. What a selection huh? Now you know why I was so bummed I missed it.
The only kids on the road. They were willing to risk their lives because there was a float 5 feet away.
This is the highlight of the Panguitch parade. The kazoo band. These very old ladies play a kazoo . You can never really hear the tune but it is the funniest thing that you will ever see I just laugh and laugh for the rest of the day.
Look at my little metro cowboy. I still try to tell him he needs to wear the attire if he is going to ride a horse like a cowboy.

What a good uncle he is. Rid em cowboy giddy up!
Waving like a cheeseball
Here is my worst fear flashing right before me. TWINS. This generation is Clint's side of the family. I am doomed. They say it skips a generation and I am going to be up next. Already three hopefully no more.
All grand kids all tuckered out from a long day of races and candy.

ROCK CLIMBING

So a few weeks ago we got bored and decided to go rock climbing. Me, Clint , Megan and Cody went. Unfortunately Cody had to be the babysitter and watch there baby girl, Emma, while we were there. I thought is was alright, but Clint and Megan had a blast. It was something to do though. Here are some pics of the event.

Here we are just getting our harnesses on. You have to use some special knot on the rope to hold you up. Clint, scouts must have done nothing for you.!!! Thank you Megan for knowing how to tie the knot.

Theres Clint climbing his way to the top. I don't know how he was climbing some of these. He had
such a far reach.

Who's that lady? Who's that lady? Need i say more? I'm at the top. Yay for me.

Its a spider monkey. (For those of you who really thought it was a spider monkey, its not. Its just Clint again.)

Pigeons

OK so we have had a bit of a problem with the dang pigeons since we have moved to Las Vegas. Everyday there are at least 50 pigeons that sit on our roof and poop all day long. That is a lot of pigeon poop. There have also been some instances where the pigeons have ran into our bathroom window upstairs. When this happens the pigeons leave a little "pigeon dust" for evidence. I like to call germ infested dust. One of the pigeons hit the window and fell to the ground and was injured badly. I hate those things but I did feel so bad for this pigeon considering I had to smash it's head with a block to put it out of it's misery and cause I didn't want to put an alive pigeon in the garbage. So Our neighbors got this fake owl and put it on his house and the pigeons stopped going on his house. Instead the pigeons were all on my house. We trekked it over to Wal-mart and bought two fake owls. We were both excited about the owls because we were for sure they were gonna work take a look.

Here is our house with the owl in the top crack kinda small but it is there. This was 15 minutes after the owl was in place and we were so excited.

Then an hour after that I decided to go get the mail and I looked up and there they were four little brave pigeons. Let me remind you that it was hard work getting those owls up cause our house is so tall and it we had to borrow the tallest ladder just so we could jump up on the roof.

Yep still there even if I threw a rock at them. On a positive note there are not 50 to 100 pigeons on that spot, just four brave souls.

A closer look at them looking at the owl hunched over just cracked me up. We have come to the conclusion that a BB gun is the next step in our quest for pigeon free home:)

Busy, Busy, Busy!!!

Wow we have been so dang busy this month. Clint and I have been working like crazy and I have been busy with young women's and the holidays. Last week was girl's camp and we all had a blast. It was really fun to get to know the girl's personalities a little better. We were lucky enough that we did not have any serious problems while we were up there. They participated in a bunch of fun activities like the zip line. I had a blast on that thing because I had never been on one in my whole life. I decided to let go of the rope and hang backwards. Needless to say, I hung straight upside down and facing backwards. My poor little head almost ran right into a huge tree but I finally looked up at the split second.

Me and some of the girl's at camp don't we look beautiful:)

Here I am sitting in my "princess chair as the girl's call it because it was pink just like everything else I own.

This was the funnest game we played at girl's camp. It's kinda weird and I am not sure of where it was derived from but It got a lot of laughs. If anybody would say "Mine" they had to do five real pushups. Here is sis Connelly doing the pushup's the girl way so she had to so ten. I was lucky enough to never fall for that trick even though they tried to the end.

Who knew a Mountain in Nevada and hour from Las Vegas would be this pretty. Mount Charelston is what it is called

For one of our activities, we had a pool party. I stayed in the hot tub the entire time because the pool was a little too chilly for me. I can't wait till we start our own pool so I can keep it at the perfect temperature ( you know bath water temperature hahahahah)

Here is our bishop. He looks like he was smoking a little somthin somethin just kidding he is the nicest guy ever!

more pool party pics

And more pool party pics

Here are my fellow leaders at girl's camp. Doesn't sis Zonner's (middle hair look so wonderful) it was my idea everyone loved it.

Here is the video of me on the zip line. It takes awhile but you have to be patient it was the funnest 5 seconds ever!
