New additions

We are now the proud owner's of a boat. I know that we are crazy to buy a boat right before our new baby. I say what the heck, we need to start our princess off early on wakeboarding hahaha! We are so excited about our new buy but I am totally sad that I can't even wakeboard till at least September.

We haven't had a chance to take it out, so I will post some new pics once it's out on the water.

Here is our other new buy. We traded out our old couches for this high grain genuine leather sectional. We were never really a fan of leather until we realized how much we hate clothe couches with dogs. I figured with a new baby coming, it was in our best interest to purchase something cleanable. I have to admit that they have been amazing. Just a little wipe and BAM it is all clean.
And another addition, My Belly. It has not really grown that much this month. It could be due to the fact that I have been jogging a mile and half every day to start early on the baby weight.

I can't believe that I only have 69 days left. I probably have less because the Dr. said he was going to strip my membranes at 37 weeks. Holy crap that is 7 weeks away! I can't wait to meet my princess. I am sooo inpatient and I want her here as soon as possible (but healthy early)

Our final purchase was our baby girl's dresser/ changing table. We are still in the process of looking for the perfect crib so I will post it when we find it.

Dr.'s visit and some easter

Yesterday was my 27 week checkup. I cannot fathom the fact that I am almost 7 months preggers. Yikes I have 90 days to go and I am not the slightest bit prepared for this little lady coming. I keep having nightmares that I go into labor early and I have nothing, not even a car seat to bring the poor thing home in. Needless to say I need to get cracka lackin on this baby furniture stuff. On a better note I have finally caught up to the weight I should be for this time. It could be because I ate like a Horse this month. I have been working 60 hour weeks and eating every minute while I am at work wow. you can really see a difference from last month.

Here we are early in the morning at the doctor. Not only is my belly getting huge look at that Booty! Wow I have never really had one and I kinda like. What do you think?
Shirt down makes it look even bigger haha!
Cheesy Clint wanted to take a picture next to the wall art (ps. it's a little fuzzy but that is the vagina) you dirty boy!
Here are some Easter pics. I know I am late but it will have to do for now. My whole side of the fam decided to beat the snow and head down to the nice warm weather. Here we are at the park not even paying any attention to Clint photographing us.
This pic is before I started scarfing my face with coconut pie, homemade ice cream, chips and salsa, french fries, and jamba juice to name a few of my favs haha. This month I am going to start some aqua aerobics classes at the gym and cut back on the sweets. Wish me luck cause I really am going to need it.

23 weeks and feeling just ok

Well here it is 23 week belly! Clint thought it was a good idea to snap this shot on his cell phone this morning right after I chugged that nasty glucose drink before I had to go to the doctor. As far as nausea goes, I have good days and bad days. I really only get sick at nightime which is a serious improvement from 24 hours a day and that just started getting better 8 days ago. I'll keep you updated if anything exciting happens.

Baby Bump

So here it is by popular demand the infamous baby bump at 17 weeks. I know that it does not look like much but none of my pants fit not even my biggest pants I have ever owned. I have gained a whoppin 1 pound. I guess my hips are just widening and I hate it. I am still sick throwing up every day and nauseated all day. The Dr. said "oh you should start feeling better any day now" and that my friends was at 14 weeks. I have surpassed that by almost a whole month without any relief. On a better note, I failed to post the sex of the baby. Drum roll please........................ Its a little princess yeah! We are excited but we are already fighting over names. I knew it would be trouble considering we couldn't even decide on the same ceiling fans for our new house hahaha
So here she is at 15 weeks old. We decided we couldn't wait so we participated in the 4D ultrasound. She was such a little movie star look at that zoolander pose haha.

Cruising and being Sick

Sorry its been sooooooo long this baby is really kicking my bootie! I have been sick every day all day since week seven. I will have to admit that this is one of the hardest things that I have had to go through but I know it is well worth every vomit haha. On a better note Clint and I decided that a cruise is something we needed to do before we became parents. A couple of our friends had the same idea so yup we planned a cruise. We flew to Miami and stayed there for a couple days and then went on a cruise to key west, Cozumel Mexico and back to Miami. We had a blast here are some pics of our adventure.

Getting a sunburn the first day in Miami was not in the itinerary

Here we are on our balcony in Miami in our hotel. I am not sure what we are doing ha!

Does The "Plus" Sign Mean Boy or Girl

So it is true. Christie is pregnant which means one thing: I will be a slave for the next 9 months or longer.

So here is the story. Christie was 5 days late and she decided to take a test. Negative. She had been on and off each month so we figured for her it was normal. 8 days later, Thanksgiving Day, another test. What to our eyes could this be. Positive. I was so excited to tell everyone but she didn't want to believe it at first. 4 hours later she decided to confirm with another test and again positive.

I was able to keep this exciting news a secret for 6 1/2 hours. At Thanksgiving dinner i kept bringing up pregnancy topics to start a conversation. Finally her father asks "when are you guys having kids." Right then i blurted out "About 9 months or so." The family was so excited to hear the great news. I figured since her whole family was with us for Thanksgiving it would be a good time to share.Of course being so excited I also called my whole family and told them too.

We told everyone that we were not going to tell friends until we went to the doctor and felt it was a good time so please don't tell anyone else. We finally came up with telling everyone else and posting this blog Christmas Day.

What was the first mistake I made? Telling The family members.

The secret was kept for one week until we found out that Christies mom told everyone at her work in Richfield. (Everyone that she works with travels from cedar city once a week with the dermatologist) Also christie used to work with all of them and is good friends with a few. Christies sister then told 1 person at Applebees (where christie also used to work for 5 years) and anyone that knows how quickly news travels in Utah, its fast.

Second Mistake? Going to applebees to eat with two of our good friends in cedar city.

Right after we sat down we had someone ask Christie if there was anything she wanted to tell her and we played it off the best we could. (We thought we were still good) 5 minutes later, the girl her sister told comes to the table to congratulate us and let us know how excited she was to hear that she was pregnant. So Mike and Laura, you were pretty much the first friends to find out on accident. By the end of the meal the manager came up and said, "congratulations, i heard you were pregnant."

So here we are telling you 3 weeks earlier than planned so that hopefully you don't hear it from someone else.
We are very excited to find out what it is and can't wait to have the little bundle of joy in our home.

Here is Christie holding her tests. Of course she didn't believe the first one, so hey!!! lets take another. (this was the second picture taken. you will find out why we took 2 when you see the next pic.)

I told her to take a picture with her tests and the picture says it all. She put them against her cheek right next to her mouth. So gross. the cap may be on the end but still, gross. The funny thing is it didn't even cross her mind until i said something. Then she became disgusted of what she just did.

Catching Up

Wow we apologize for be so incoherently busy that we could not keep our friends and family updated on our exciting life. Yes, we still only have our cellular devices for our picture taking moments so it will have to do. Here are some random pics we had on our cell phones so bare with the randomness.

So here is by far the most random event of all time. Here is the story of my pet rooster/chicken. One beautiful morning I was awakened by the noise of a cock-a-doodle-doo. Yes, and keep in mind this is in Las Vegas. I stumble down the stairs trying to talk myself out of what I was hearing. Sure enough to my wondering eyes may appear a rooster/chicken in my front yard. I am not sure what the difference is between a rooster and a chicken since this is the first time I have been close enough to see a real life one (lame I know). I tried to steer that stupid thing into the road or even into someone else's yard. This scheme worked for ummmm about 5 minutes then there that stinking thing was again in my yard. I am pretty much the most pathetic animal lover there is to man so I figured this monster was hungry since it was at our house for 5 days. I decided that dog food was a good choice. Bad choice! that monster stuck around so i stopped with the feeding hoping it would get hungry enough to go back to where it came from. Sure enough it was gone. I was kind of sad when I found that it left because it was always exciting to come home and check if it was still there. I got over that sadness within minutes. If anyone has seen my friend make sure he is in a good yard:)
Clint had some friends from Phoenix visiting so we decided to take the to the Mandalay Bay shark aquarium. We had tons of fun. There is something about aquatic life that amazes me. I could have been there all day watching their every move.
Here is Dora the fish. She is so famous I couldn't''t resist getting a picture with her.

Cell phone pic gotta love it NOT!
A SHARK yikes. This is the one of reasons I avoid the ocean. The second if Jellyfish.:O
Can you believe I was touching the same animal that killed the croc hunter! Danger is my middle. Christie Danger Fink sounds soo good doyou agree?

Here are Brian's little boys. Mason is on the left and Kenny on the right sitting on Brian's grave site in Panguitch
Here is cash in his beloved bee costume for Halloween. Doesn't he look like he loves it hahaha just kidding. I swear I am not an animal torturer.

We tried to capture the action of him trying to shake that dang thing off but it was not budging poor little cash. At least he was warm:)
