So a few weeks ago we got bored and decided to go rock climbing. Me, Clint , Megan and Cody went. Unfortunately Cody had to be the babysitter and watch there baby girl, Emma, while we were there. I thought is was alright, but Clint and Megan had a blast. It was something to do though. Here are some pics of the event.
Here we are just getting our harnesses on. You have to use some special knot on the rope to hold you up. Clint, scouts must have done nothing for you.!!! Thank you Megan for knowing how to tie the knot.
Theres Clint climbing his way to the top. I don't know how he was climbing some of these. He had
such a far reach.
Who's that lady? Who's that lady? Need i say more? I'm at the top. Yay for me.
Its a spider monkey. (For those of you who really thought it was a spider monkey, its not. Its just Clint again.)

Pigeons
OK so we have had a bit of a problem with the dang pigeons since we have moved to Las Vegas. Everyday there are at least 50 pigeons that sit on our roof and poop all day long. That is a lot of pigeon poop. There have also been some instances where the pigeons have ran into our bathroom window upstairs. When this happens the pigeons leave a little "pigeon dust" for evidence. I like to call germ infested dust. One of the pigeons hit the window and fell to the ground and was injured badly. I hate those things but I did feel so bad for this pigeon considering I had to smash it's head with a block to put it out of it's misery and cause I didn't want to put an alive pigeon in the garbage. So Our neighbors got this fake owl and put it on his house and the pigeons stopped going on his house. Instead the pigeons were all on my house. We trekked it over to Wal-mart and bought two fake owls. We were both excited about the owls because we were for sure they were gonna work take a look.
Here is our house with the owl in the top crack kinda small but it is there. This was 15 minutes after the owl was in place and we were so excited.
Then an hour after that I decided to go get the mail and I looked up and there they were four little brave pigeons. Let me remind you that it was hard work getting those owls up cause our house is so tall and it we had to borrow the tallest ladder just so we could jump up on the roof.
Yep still there even if I threw a rock at them. On a positive note there are not 50 to 100 pigeons on that spot, just four brave souls.
A closer look at them looking at the owl hunched over just cracked me up. We have come to the conclusion that a BB gun is the next step in our quest for pigeon free home:)

Busy, Busy, Busy!!!
Wow we have been so dang busy this month. Clint and I have been working like crazy and I have been busy with young women's and the holidays. Last week was girl's camp and we all had a blast. It was really fun to get to know the girl's personalities a little better. We were lucky enough that we did not have any serious problems while we were up there. They participated in a bunch of fun activities like the zip line. I had a blast on that thing because I had never been on one in my whole life. I decided to let go of the rope and hang backwards. Needless to say, I hung straight upside down and facing backwards. My poor little head almost ran right into a huge tree but I finally looked up at the split second.
Me and some of the girl's at camp don't we look beautiful:)
Here I am sitting in my "princess chair as the girl's call it because it was pink just like everything else I own.
This was the funnest game we played at girl's camp. It's kinda weird and I am not sure of where it was derived from but It got a lot of laughs. If anybody would say "Mine" they had to do five real pushups. Here is sis Connelly doing the pushup's the girl way so she had to so ten. I was lucky enough to never fall for that trick even though they tried to the end.
Who knew a Mountain in Nevada and hour from Las Vegas would be this pretty. Mount Charelston is what it is called
For one of our activities, we had a pool party. I stayed in the hot tub the entire time because the pool was a little too chilly for me. I can't wait till we start our own pool so I can keep it at the perfect temperature ( you know bath water temperature hahahahah)
Here is our bishop. He looks like he was smoking a little somthin somethin just kidding he is the nicest guy ever!
more pool party pics
And more pool party pics
Here are my fellow leaders at girl's camp. Doesn't sis Zonner's (middle hair look so wonderful) it was my idea everyone loved it.
Here is the video of me on the zip line. It takes awhile but you have to be patient it was the funnest 5 seconds ever!

Poor Little Computer:(
Well if you haven't noticed I have not had anything to post for awhile and that is because my attention derived jack Russell terrier decided to jump on the computer cord and made it fall straight on the Internet air card and busted the computer input. So yep we were out of commission for awhile. Thank heavens we have a good warranty on the darn thing so we took it to best buy and they fixed it for free 99 (my favorite price). Anyways it seemed forever. It actually ended up being only 3 weeks but it felt like a year. I will get some good stuff up soon even though nothing has really happened.

Disneyland
Well we finally made it on a vacation! Clint and I decided that neither of us have been to disneyland in quit a while. Clint has only been there once when he was 8 and I have been there twice and the last time was when I was 15 yikes. It has been a long time since we have been able to just leave and go to disney land spur of the moment. Sunday night Clint's boss thought it would be nice to give him four days off so we packed up on monday and left for California. Now that we live in las vegas it is only 3 1/2 hours away to disneyland. We arrived there at about 6 on Monday night and we met up with our cousin Tandy who lives there. We ate ice cream and I finally was able to see their new addition Ella. The next morning we woke up at 7 and darted off to disneyland. We were able to ride all of the rides and we were there till 9 that night. It was a long day of fun but we had the best time ever. I really felt like I was twelve again and nothing can really compare to that feeling.
Here is Ariel. She was not as pretty as belle but I had to take a picture because she is my favorite character of all time
Well here it is the very last ride of the day splash mountain. We waited until after the parade and we sprinted to splash mountain and we got right on the ride. To my disadvantage it was getting dark and I got stuck in front row because my husband was being a big baby! I got drenched I had to take my top of and change into a jacket. p.s i even put my hair in a very tight bun and it still got drenched.
I was trying to get that dang sword out of the stinking ground but I had no luck at all.
At night the princess castle lights up pink and purple my two favorite colors so I had to take a snap thanks stranger for taking it for us.
Can we say creepy ! this is me when I am old. This just depresses me:(
Here is Clint hahaha he has a permafrown
Honey I shrunk the audience is still as funny as ever our favorite part when the dog sneezes on you is not part of the show booooo !
Jungle safari! that poor zebra is being eaten by the lions:(
HAha isn't it funny to see a grown man on a merry go round cause I do
here is thunder mountain is was not as scary as I could remember but it was still fun!
Here we are on the Davy Crockett canoe ride. As you can see we were not paddling and the guides had to help most of the way because my arm started hurting and there were like 5 kids on the canoe. By the end of the ride the guides were sweating and we kind of felt bad oh well pictures are sometimes more important right?
I wanted a picture of us with some mickey ears so we went into the store and found our favorite and and took a picture of them without buying them hahaha thanks disney:)
Here is one of our new favorite rides we went on. Finding nemo just opened this year and it was a blast. This was the longest line at disneyland so it took us about an hour to get on but was well worth the wait. It is a big submarine that floats around and has computerized nemo characters with jelly fish and lots of cool stuff. It really is amazing to see this ride and I always wonder how the heck they do it.
This by far is one of the funniest things we saw at disneyland. This little Asian guy was sitting in front of us at the parade and he had one of the biggest cameras I have ever seen hahahaha he was taking pictures of birds that were like 1000 feet away. Still makes me laugh

New Calling
Well Heavenly father has found a new church calling for me! It does not involve the nursery so I am more than excited. I have been called to the Young Women's Laurel Advisor. Yep I get to go to Girl's camp for the 7th year and I get to hang out with teenagers and go to youth night on Wednesday's. I am a little nervous because I am in charge of doing the lessons on Sunday's and I still feel like a young women myself. I sit in the crowd and I blend right in and that kind of freaks me out! We are planning our weekly activities so if anybody has any good lessons or activity ideas you let me know asap!
